چکیده
In this study, the angle ambiguity of a single baseline is analyzed to design an antenna for interferometric radar altimeter (IRA). To overcome shortcoming in which occurs during every phase period, IRA adopts multiple baselines its and estimates target by employing comparison monopulse algorithm. However, problem with that difficult solve signal processing when error large. minimize at stage, according spacing. The analysis performed conducting parameter study based on Monte Carlo simulation, validity verified from test data.

Design of A Pentagon Microstrip Antenna for Radar Altimeter Application
In the navigational applications, radar and satellite requires a device that is a radar altimeter. The working frequency of this system is 4.2 to 4.3GHz and also requires less weight, low profile, and high gain antennas. The above mentioned application is possible with microstrip antenna as also known as planar antenna. In this paper, the microstrip antennas are designed at 4.3GHz (C-band) in r...

متن کاملModel Order Selection in Multi-baseline Interferometric Radar Systems
Synthetic aperture radar interferometry (InSAR) is a powerful technique to derive three-dimensional terrain images. Interest is growing in exploiting the advancedmulti-baseline mode of InSAR to solve layover effects from complex orography, which generate reception of unexpected multicomponent signals that degrade imagery of both terrain radar reflectivity and height. This work addresses a few p...
متن کاملTheoretical Analysis of Polarization Rotation angle in Dual Reflector Antenna
Because of special structure, a dual reflector antenna has beam rotation capability in azimuth and elevation directions. In this structure, the antenna beam can be placed in any point in the space by mechanical movement of twist reflector which it is the most important ability of the antenna. Due to the antenna structure, if the polarization of incident wave is linear, it is expected that the p...
متن کاملA Switched-antenna Nadir-looking Interferometric Sar Altimeter for Terrain-aided Navigation
Conventional terrain-aided navigation (TAN) technique uses an altimeter to locate the position of an aerial vehicle. However, a major problem with a radar altimeter is that its beam (or pulse) footprint on the ground could be large, and therefore the nadir altitude cannot be estimated accurately. To overcome this difficulty, one may use the nadir-looking synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technique...
